Admittedly, my guilty pleasure has always been for Coca-Cola. There’s nothing like the occasional sweet treat when I’m running around doing errands, the shot of sugar can be such an awakening pick-me-up. I try to always have cans of coca in the house to offer guests; I’ll excitedly say “would you like a coke?!” Since it’s not the best thing for you, it’s fun to indulge in every now and again.
I stumbled across New York-based designer Ryan Harc’s concept design for a minimalistic Coca-Cola can that is eco-friendly and 100% recyclable. His concept is called ‘Colorless’ as he’s designed the can with a convex logo instead of Coca-Cola’s signature red and white painted-on can. Stripping away the the colors apparently reduces energy and efforts to separate the toxic paint from the aluminum cans during the recycling process. I would totally rock that can next to a clear glass with ice, yum-yum.
