Yesterday the world lost a great photojournalist.Tim Hetherington, most known for his Academy nominated documentary film Restrepo was killed in the ambushed city Misurata, Libya. Hetherington was a British citizen who resided in New York; he frequently covered conflict parts of the world with a mindful eye and grace. I displayed one of his beautiful photos which was featured in the DC Foto exhibition called “Sleeping Soldier.” My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. He will be greatly missed.

More photos can be seen in Vanity Fair.
