Edible Greenhouse

I don’t know about you, but with this wickedly cold weather, I’ve been longing for spring big time. A friend of mine is going to San Diego (on of my favorite places on earth) tomorrow and was telling me she needed to remember to pack her flip flops. So lucky!

I thought this edible greenhouse was super cool. Designed by The Netherlands based group, Atelier Gras making the greenhouse entirely out of recycled plastic produce crates, mesh and soil. The structure is called “eethuis” which literally means edible house, yum! I love the idea of creatively stacking a garden. I for one am limited on space and sunlight. Maye I could affix my vegetable garden along the side of the house. I’m sure the neighbors would love that.
