Ari Marcopoulos’ skateboarding photos

Ari Marcopoulos, the Amsterdam-born photographer who relocated to NYC and assisted Andy Warhol has a solo show at OhWow Gallery in Miami, FL. During the early nineties, Marcopoulos began documenting the (at the time) subcultural skateboarding scene in NYC. The show, No Cause, features polaroids and black-and-white photos of angsty teenagers in the back-allies of the city. Totally cool!
