In memory of Harvey Pekar, the late, great comic book writer. Last week, Daryle and I just watched American Splendor and we were both very taken with the movie. We wondered what took us so long to see it. Just as we were learning about the world of Harvey Pekar and how his life was his work; his life ended. Rest in peace.

  1. RIP – Harvey Pekar, 70, lived in Cleveland, Ohio all of his life. At the age of 26 he got a job as a file clerk at a V.A. hospital there and kept at it for the next 35 years. It was monotonous. http://urdead2me.wordpress.com/2010/07/12/rip-harvey-pekar/
