I’m a jerk for not posting this sooner. This post has only been sitting in an open tab on my computer for the last 10 days . Errr..!
Love Your Bike Portsmouth was an event for bike-enthusiasts to explore ways to improve bike design of their bikes and its appearance, mixed with an aim to regain the streets for riding. On the day of the event, there were tons of cool demos on bamboo, electric, build your own, and fixed gear bikes; information on bike locks that really work, a photo exhibition on vintage bikes, and crazy bike sculptures. Wish I was there! And who might be the genius behind the branding of this event? Why its ILoveDust, the UK creative shop that never ceases to impress me. Here, they’ve designed a suite of items including posters, swag, and a website for the Love Your Bike event. The typography is impeccable mixed images of indie rock cyclists on top of the flesh-toned poster paper. Check out the Love Your Bike Portsmouth blog to see pics from the event. I took a liking to the three dudes below.
