Kimiaki Yaegashi, aka Okimi is an illustrator/graphic designer living in the Kichijoji [the young, artsy] area of Tokyo. Getting his inspiration from pop art and comic books, he’s created a ton of brightly colored illustrations with groovy backgrounds. The illustrations are mostly based on cutesy themes usually of a girl in a bikini, or tiny cartoon piglets just having a good time, or both. A lot of the work is outlined in two-tones which gives it a surprising 3D feel. Take a peak at more of Okimi’s work here.
